With the goal of enhancing academic quality and staying ahead of modern educational trends, on April 14, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with MyCos Data Company, a leading company in Asia specializing in educational data collection and analysis.
During the session, HUTECH presented a benchmarking report comparing universities in the field of Information Technology. The report included key indicators such as student satisfaction, employer feedback, and graduate outcomes. Based on the findings, HUTECH’s strengths were clearly recognized by Dr. David Cheng, Chief Science Officer and Vice President of MyCos, along with Mr. Qi Zhang, CEO of UniMega. At the same time, areas for improvement were visually and accurately highlighted.

Looking toward a modern education model, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of HUTECH, expressed strong interest in adopting the UniMega platform, a tool designed to track students' academic and career journeys. This platform would help strengthen real-time academic management. Its implementation would support HUTECH in evaluating teaching effectiveness, identifying skills aligned with labor market needs, and adapting academic policies accordingly to meet workforce demands.

Notably, as part of the long-term collaboration, HUTECH is expected to become one of the pioneering universities in Vietnam to join the strategic partnership network with MyCos. As a founding member of this educational data ecosystem, HUTECH stands to gain significant strategic advantages, from measuring return on educational investment and strengthening academic reputation to accessing advanced technologies and international expertise.
