The Faculty of Foreign Languages was founded in 1995 and changed its name to the Faculty of English Language in 2017. Our team includes Vietnamese and international educators from the US, UK, Australia, and Canada. The Faculty also partners with English centers and businesses to provide students with practical experiences through internships.
The mission of the Faculty of English Language is to lead in English language training, equipping students with comprehensive language skills, professional workplace abilities, and strong ethical values. The vision is to become a renowned department, enhancing HUTECH's reputation, focusing on multidisciplinary language applications, and preparing students for global integration.
The Faculty's cultural values are captured in four words: Integration, Responsibility, Quality, and Creativity. Its strategic objectives include developing a comprehensive department, prioritizing education quality, and addressing the increasing need for English-proficient professionals with moral integrity and versatile skills in translation, teaching, business, and tourism. The faculty aims to foster research capabilities, practical application of knowledge, and adaptability to meet economic demands in the context of international integration.
In December 2021, the English Language major at HUTECH was proudly awarded Bachelor's program accreditation under AUN-QA standards, achieving impressive results. This accreditation affirms that HUTECH's English Language program is on par with the top universities in the region that offer similar programs.
