In order to summarize the activities of the 2023–2025 term and outline the direction for the upcoming term, the English Language Faculty at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held the English Language Faculty’s Congress of the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students’ Association for the 2025–2028 term on May 10.

The Congress was not only an occasion for students to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the past term, but also an opportunity to candidly reflect on remaining limitations and challenges, drawing valuable lessons from those experiences. It served as an important preparatory step for a comprehensive evaluation of organizational activities, self-assessment, and the establishment of a solid foundation for the continued development of the Association’s work and student movements in the new term.

The Congress is a milestone to acknowledge achievements, reflect on lessons learned, and prepare for the new term.

In his remarks at the event, Mr. Võ Quốc Đại, M.A. – Vice Dean of the English Language Faculty – extended his congratulations to all students and the Executive Committee of the 2023–2025 term for their dedicated efforts and meaningful contributions throughout the past period. He also expressed his hope that students would continue to embody the youthful, dynamic, and creative spirit, qualities that have long been the hallmark of HUTECH’s student body across generations.

He emphasized: “We must build a Student Association that dares to think and dares to act, a space that sparks ideas and nurtures the aspirations of our Faculty’s students. The Faculty will always accompany and support you, contributing to making the English Language Faculty’s Congress of the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students’ Association a second home, a place where every student can confidently express their views, spread positive energy, and fully realize their potential.”

Mr. Võ Quốc Đại, M.A., hopes the Student Association will serve as a platform for connection and personal growth.

Within the framework of the Congress, delegates actively participated in discussions, contributed their insights, and unanimously adopted key documents, including the Summary Report of the 2023–2025 Term and the Action Plan for the 2025–2028 Term.

Immediately following this, the Congress held elections and officially introduced the new Executive Committee of the English Language Faculty’s Congress of the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students’ Association for the 2025–2028 term, with the following members:

In the joyful atmosphere marking the introduction of the new Executive Committee, the Congress also held a commendation ceremony to honor outstanding individuals and groups for their exceptional achievements. This act of recognition not only celebrated past contributions but also served to inspire continued dedication, creativity, and a steadfast pioneering spirit in all activities of the Faculty.
