The Faculty of English Language Introduces the Executive Committee of the English Union – Term III (2023–2025)

On November 5, the Executive Committee of the English Union – Term III (2023–2025), Faculty of English, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), convened a restructuring meeting to finalize its new personnel and formally introduced the updated committee, with several new faces taking office.

The conference was organized to restructure the Executive Committee following the departure of some members who had completed their terms. This was a necessary step to ensure the continuous and effective operation of the English Union and to better serve the needs of its members within the Faculty.

In attendance were Mr. Vo Quoc Dai, M.A. – Vice Dean of the Faculty of English Language, and Ms. Tran Thi Quynh Anh – President of the University Student Association.

Representatives from the Faculty leadership and the University Student Association were present at the conference.

The conference proceeded with a consensus-based selection process to appoint new members to the Executive Committee, ensuring that each selected individual possesses both the capability and enthusiasm to lead future activities of the English Union. The newly consolidated Executive Committee for Term III (2023–2025) includes:

• Mr. Tran Van Hung – President of the English Union

• Ms. Vo Vu Phuong Thanh – Vice President

• Ms. Le Bao Nhu, Ms. Do Nguyen Truc Phuong, and Mr. Do Dinh Tri – Committee members

A consultative election was held during the conference to appoint the Executive Committee of the English Union – Term III (2023–2025), Faculty of English.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vo Quoc Dai, M.A., shared:

“The English Union has recently faced many challenges. I hope the new team will bring renewed energy to help the Faculty's student affairs grow stronger in the coming time.”

Mr. Vo Quoc Dai, M.A., conveyed his strong expectations and confidence in the new Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee of the English Union is expected to operate more effectively, contributing to improving the spiritual, academic, and personal development of students within the Faculty. The enthusiasm and dynamism of the new leadership team promise to bring about meaningful and engaging activities that will meet the growing needs of Union members.
