English Majors Enhancing Their Translation Knowledge and Skills

On June 8, the English Language Faculty at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a seminar titled “Translation of English Prepositions” to help students broaden and enhance their understanding of prepositions, an essential component in both language foundations and translation.

Faculty and students of the English Department organized the seminar “Translation of English Prepositions”, offering a wealth of valuable knowledge.

The speaker of the seminar was Mr. Đỗ Mạnh Cương, M.A., a lecturer from the English Language Faculty. With extensive expertise and experience in teaching and translation, he provided students with insightful information on the critical role of prepositions in translation.

The seminar delved into the fundamental concepts, specific usage rules, and classification of common prepositions, along with their functions and meanings in conveying and transforming ideas between languages.
