On June 11, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with a representative from the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), one of the leading public universities in the United States and a prominent institution within the prestigious University of Texas system.
Attending the meeting were Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management, and Dr. Jorge A. Prozzi, Satish Endowed Engineering Professor, representing UT Austin. The two sides discussed the potential implementation of a student mobility program from UT Austin to HUTECH, including academic models, program requirements, and conditions for hosting international students.

Following the discussion, Dr. Jorge A. Prozzi took a campus tour of the academic facilities at the Dien Bien Phu Headquarters (Saigon Campus), including classrooms, the library, laboratories, and common areas. Through the visit, the UT Austin representative observed that HUTECH offers a dynamic learning environment, modern facilities, and an academic program that effectively integrates theory with practical application.
