Under the theme “Spring of Love”, the Tet Gift-Wrapping Contest, organized by the Faculty of Finance and Commerce at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) on December 14, provided students with a platform to express their creativity while spreading compassion and solidarity. The event aimed to bring warmth and joy to underprivileged families during the Lunar New Year season.
In a vibrant and joyful atmosphere, students from the Faculty joined hands to create heartfelt gift packages for families facing economic hardship. These packages were not just physical gifts but heartfelt messages of love and kindness—tangible expressions of the students’ desire to share and contribute positively to the community.
Within 90 minutes, each team meticulously selected and beautifully decorated their gift packages. Through careful craftsmanship and creative ideas, every package was transformed into a work of art carrying a meaningful message: “Sharing to overcome challenges together.” The vibrant colors, delicate details, and handwritten messages attached to each gift served as sincere encouragement for the recipient families.
Serving as judges for the contest were Mr. Nguyễn Gia Bảo – Member of the Secretariat and Chief of Staff of the University Student Association; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Nhung, M.A. – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce; and Mr. Trương Quang Hiếu – Assistant to the Dean. Following the creative decoration process and enthusiastic team presentations, the contest concluded with the announcement of the winners.
