Students of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), recently had the valuable opportunity to broaden their career perspectives and gain insights into emerging trends in the finance sector through an insightful field trip to Shinhan Bank – East Saigon Branch, held on October 17.
This visit offered students not only a chance to explore advanced banking services but also a firsthand experience of the professional and modern working environment of a leading and reputable international bank. During the tour, HUTECH students were introduced to a range of services and products offered by the bank, with particular emphasis on the SOL digital banking application. Students were also given the opportunity to engage directly with the platform by opening a digital card through the app, allowing them to better understand the growing trend of digital banking.
Additionally, the visit featured an in-depth presentation of the Shinhan Transaction Model (STM), providing students with valuable knowledge about modern transaction management tools and methods.
Beyond academic content, the atmosphere of the event was further enlivened by engaging games and interactive Q&A sessions that helped students reinforce their financial knowledge in a dynamic and enjoyable way. Adorable Shinhan mascot plush toys were awarded to participants, contributing to an exciting and memorable experience for all attendees.
