The Faculty of Finance and Commerce at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), in collaboration with Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank), recently hosted the “Sacombank Potential Intern 2024” program. Designed for final-year students, the event offered practical insights into crafting standout applications, excelling in interviews, and preparing for real-world internship experiences in the banking sector.
Joining the students were Sacombank representatives including Mr. Pham Tuan Anh – Deputy Director of Sacombank (Binh Thanh), Mr. Huynh Van Hoa – Deputy Recruitment Manager at Sacombank’s Human Resource Management Center, and Mr. Huynh Ba Phuong – Recruitment Manager for the Ho Chi Minh City region.

Representing HUTECH were Dr. Le Duc Thang – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, Mr. Ho Duc Sinh – Director of the Center for Corporate Relations, and Mr. Nguyen Hong Quy – Deputy Head of the Office of Student Affairs. The program also received strong support from other university units and faculty members.

Dr. Le Duc Thang hopes the program will open up valuable learning and real-world work opportunities for student Kicking off the session, Mr. Huynh Van Hoa introduced Sacombank and outlined the benefits of the “Potential Intern 2024” initiative. Throughout the program, Sacombank experts shared practical tips on interview skills, workplace readiness, and strategies to stand out during the recruitment process. Their advice helped students better understand the expectations of employers and how to adapt quickly to a corporate environment.
Following the seminar, many students submitted their applications on the spot and took part in face-to-face interviews for positions such as Advisory Specialist, Insurance Business Specialist, and Customer Service Specialist. Their enthusiasm and professionalism left a strong impression on the Sacombank recruitment team.
