On the afternoon of June 13, the Faculty of Finance and Commerce at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) hosted the seminar "Enterprise Web – Sustainable and Breakthrough Business Solutions" and held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with VTECH GROUP. This event marked a significant step forward in expanding development opportunities for students, particularly those specialising in e-commerce.
The event was attended by Dr. Kieu Tuan – Secretary of the Party Committee and Permanent Member of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Vice President of HUTECH; Mr. Ho Duc Sinh – Director of the Center for Corporate Relations; Mr. Tran Huu Xuan Thu – Vice Director of the Center for Corporate Relations; Assoc. In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong stated, "Signing partnerships and building strong ties with businesses are essential to enhancing and aligning our academic programs with practical demands. By integrating with enterprises, we provide students with more applied, hands-on experiences—enabling them to seize high-quality career opportunities in the future".

Representing VTECH GROUP, Mr. Le Quyet Tam shared his excitement about the collaboration with HUTECH. He affirmed that, in addition to internships and company tours, VTECH GROUP would support students in accessing and mastering advanced financial and commercial software—one of the focal points of the newly signed MoU. To celebrate the partnership, VTECH GROUP and Lovely Dental Clinic awarded five scholarships to students, and Lovely Dental Clinic further contributed 100 free dental check-up vouchers for HUTECH students and staff.

During the seminar, Mr. Le Quyet Tam delivered an insightful presentation on the evolution of e-commerce platforms in the digital age. Citing data indicating that 97.6% of users spend roughly six hours online daily, he underscored how this trend has shaped consumer behaviour and boosted online shopping—especially during the pandemic. He also shared practical knowledge and professional experiences, offering students valuable perspectives. Students actively engaged in the session, including a kahoot-based minigame, and participated in roundtable discussions with corporate representatives—deepening their understanding of how businesses operate digital platforms.
