At the skills training session, speaker Tran Cong Son, one of the youngest leaders at MB Bank, shared invaluable insights on crafting compelling CVs, formulating effective interview responses, and refining one’s demeanor and tone when facing potential employers. He also outlined the essential qualities candidates should possess and discussed the unique challenges associated with careers in the fields of Economics, Finance, Commerce, and Banking, enabling students to strategically prepare by equipping themselves with the right knowledge, honing their skills, and mentally bracing for this competitive environment.Students listened attentively to the insights shared by the speaker
HUTECH students also had the unique opportunity to engage directly with the speaker and guest panel, discussing academic concerns, career choices, and other aspects centered on the expectations of MB Bank’s business and recruitment teams. According to Mr. Tran Cong Son, to create an impressive and in-depth profile among thousands of applicants, students must complement their solid academic knowledge with soft skills developed through clubs, extracurricular activities, and community organizations. When participating in interviews, candidates need to carefully prepare the key points they intend to present. With only about 10 minutes allocated per candidate, it is crucial to make a positive impression by dressing impeccably, speaking confidently, and anticipating even the toughest questions.Potential candidates posed questions to the recruiters
Mr. Tran Cong Son highlighted that in the 4.0 era, knowledge is easily accessible online if students are proactive and flexible. Employers appreciate candidates who research their company before interviews and view unprepared applicants less favorably. He also encouraged students, saying, “Meeting you reminds me of myself 10 years ago. Keep striving and improving - you have the youth, skills, and professional training to succeed”.The program served as a crucial stepping stone, helping students finalize their CVs in preparation for the 2022 Job Fair
In addition to the speaker’s insights, students had the opportunity to participate in mini-games with prizes, including a 50 million VND voucher for the top 3 highest scorers, 25 million VND vouchers for the next 7 highest scorers, and 5 vouchers of 25 million VND each awarded to students who asked the best questions
