HUTECH and University of Nottingham (UK) signed MoU

On March 19, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) discussed and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Nottingham (UK) to bring a myriad of international learning opportunities for students. 
 

University of Nottingham is a prestigious institution with outstanding achievements in learning and research, with a total of 35,302 students. Currently, the university ranks in the top 20 leading universities in the United Kingdom and is recognized as 8th in research capability, with an extensive international student population, including China (8,612 students) and Malaysia (5,303 students). Also, the university holds high positions in general academic achievements, according to global rankings.

Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice Chairman; Dr. Ly Thien Trang - Vice President; Dr. Nguyen Chi Thang - Vice Director in charge of the Institute of International Education; Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Vice Director of the Institute of International Education; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Phung Nguyen - Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Phan Nguyen Hoa Ai, Ms. Nguyen Thi Duc Hanh, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Duc Hanh - Vice Dean of Pharmacy; Dr. Pharm. Quach Thuy Tien - Lecturer of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Researcher at the University of Nottingham, and Dr. Hoang Ngoc Nhung - Director of the Center of International Projects and Commercialization.

Both universities briefly introduced their universities and discussed the project “UK-VN knowledge exchange for multi-material additive manufacturing”, bringing many opportunities for future collaboration together. Notably, they also reached an agreement on exchanging students and lecturers, on scientific research cooperation, and on the implementation of transfer programs in fields of natural sciences, thus creating a modern, international educational environment for students.
