Established in 2017, formerly the Faculty of Biotechnology, Food Science, and Environment, the HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences is responsible for offering undergraduate and graduate programs in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Environmental Engineering, as well as undergraduate programs in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, and Cosmetic Technology.
The Institute boasts a team of skilled and knowledgeable full-time lecturers, complemented by esteemed guest academics and researchers. Together, they enhance the educational experience through teaching and mentorship, hands-on experiments, course projects, graduation projects, and research activities.
Students receive in-depth training in specialized areas such as biotechnology, food and environment, fostering a passion and commitment to their chosen path. They also gain a comprehensive education that comprises of fundamental and industry knowledge, enabling them to develop high-quality, socioeconomically viable products.
Additionally, the Institute is actively engaged in research and the application of science and technology in environmental and biotechnological domains. This involves conducting scientific projects at various levels and providing consultancy on technological and managerial solutions to businesses and partners.
